Childhood and youth
Underwood grew up as the third youngest daughter of a paper mill worker Stephen and teacher Carole Underwood on a Farm in Checotah, Oklahoma. As a member of the Free Baptist Church Wants to Underwood sang at an early age in the Church. After graduating from High School in 2001, attended Underwood Northeastern State University in Tahlequah. In 2006 she finished her studies successfully with a bachelor’s degree in communication and journalism.
