Classic Rock is a style name that refers to the currents of the Rock, the go back in their roots to the years 1965 to 1975. The term Classic Rock was created in January 1981 by the then newly founded radio station WYSP out of Philadelphia. This had 1970’s on his Playlist, the music of the early Phase of the Rock between 1965 and the Punk Explosion of the mid-years.
