James Marshall “Jimi” Hendrix (* 27. November 1942 in Seattle, Washington; † 18. September 1970 in London) was an American guitarist, composer and singer.
Hendrix, the guitar is because of its experimental and innovative way of playing on the E-as one of the greatest guitarists, had a lasting influence on the development of rock music. With his Bands, including The Jimi Hendrix Experience and Gypsy Sun & Rainbows – he had appearances on the most popular music festivals of its time, so in 1967 at the Monterey Pop Festival in 1969 at the Woodstock Festival and in 1970 at the Isle of Wight.
