Though it is about death, "Save the Life of My Child" does not mention the word death, dead or die, like the other three.

The "I" person is present in the other songs.

The other songs revolve around a person who commits suicide. "Overs" is about a failing marriage.

Cecilia is the only one who leaves the singer. In the other songs, the singer is the one who leaves or is thinking of leaving.

Whereas the narrator in the other songs are walking (or wandering/kicking down), the narrator in "Bridge Over Troubled Water" offers himself to lay down.

This is all about the weather; the foggy "Bleecker Street", the cloudy "Cloudy" and the rainy "Kathys Song", is not at all like the sunny "The Sun is Burning", though the burning sun isn't always positive.
